Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia

Stefan Klein leads the first atelier of transports design in Slovakia - Studio of Transport Design at Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. He won the National Prize for Design (together with I. Čobej), in 1999 the Baničov Prize (for a light electric car). Abroad he hosts at universities and in juries of design contests.

Education and Employment:

• 1978 - 1983: full-time study at Slovak Technical University, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Bratislava
• 1984 - 1990: full-time study at the Academy of Fine Arts, Department of Design, Bratislava
• 1992 - 1993: postgraduate studies at Ecole des Beaux Arts, Saint-Etienne, France
• 15. 12. 1995: appointing an Associate Professor
