Assoc. Prof. Radovan HUDÁK

Radovan Hudak was born in 1976 in Kosice, Slovakia. He received his MS and PhD. degree in biomedical engineering at Technical University in Kosice in 2000 and 2008. Today Mr. Hudak is an associate professor and vice-head of Department of Biomedical Engineering and Measurement, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia. He is head of Laboratory of Additive Technologies in Medicine. His research interests include medical additive manufacturing and human biomechanics. Mr. Hudak is one of the founders and owners of CEIT Biomedical Engineering company which is dealing with custom and serial implants production using additive technologies. He is a member of Committees F42 on Additive Manufacturing Technologies and Committee E20 on Temperature Measurement and since 2015 he is vice-head of the working group RIS3 SK Biotechnologies and Biomedicine at the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic. He is winner of national quality prize in 2015 and Personality of the year 2016 in the field of technologies in Slovak Republic.
